Privacy Policy

Summary

• Your attendance records, office location, plans, and settings stay on your device.
• There is no OfficeComply account, no advertising, and no tracking across apps or websites.
• Location, Notifications, and Calendar are each requested only when you turn on the feature that needs them.
• Purchases are handled by Apple. RevenueCat receives your purchase history and an anonymous ID to confirm Pro access.

Who we are

OfficeComply is developed by Ayush Kumar Agarwal ("we", "us"). We are responsible for this policy and you can reach us at support@ayushdev.com.

Data stored on your device

Your attendance records, planned days, office-day rule, settings, and the office location you pin are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. They are not uploaded to us or to any server, and the app does not send your work-location record to your employer. OfficeComply does not use cloud sync or third-party analytics.

Whether Pro is active and, for people who started the earlier free trial, the trial dates and integrity markers are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. This is used only to decide which features are available and is not sent to us.

Location and automatic logging

Location is optional. OfficeComply asks for it only when you tap "I'm at the office right now" or turn on automatic logging.

• While Using the App: used to place a pin at your current position when you tap "I'm at the office right now".
• Always: used with Apple's region monitoring so iOS can tell OfficeComply when you arrive at the office you pinned, even when the app is closed. The app then records that day as an office day on your device.

Your location and office pin are never sent to us, your employer, or any third party. You can turn automatic logging off in the app, or change Location access in iOS Settings, at any time.

When you search for your office address or view the map, the search text and map requests are handled by Apple Maps under Apple's privacy policy. We do not receive them.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, OfficeComply schedules reminders and arrival confirmations on your device. They are created locally and do not pass through any server of ours.

Calendar suggestions

Calendar suggestions are optional and turned on in Settings. When you turn them on, OfficeComply asks for full Calendar access and reads event titles and locations on your device to suggest Office or WFH for upcoming days, using words such as "office", "onsite", "WFH", and "remote". It never writes to your calendar, nothing leaves your device, and you review every suggestion before your plan changes.

Purchases

OfficeComply Pro is sold as weekly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details.

To confirm what you have unlocked, OfficeComply uses RevenueCat, which receives your App Store purchase history and a random, anonymous app user ID. RevenueCat does not receive your attendance records, office location, or calendar data. Because OfficeComply has no accounts, purchases are not linked to your name or email.

Siri, Shortcuts, and exports

Siri and Shortcuts actions run on your device to log a status or open the app. With Pro, Insights can create CSV and PDF reports from the data on your device; they are passed to the iOS share sheet and OfficeComply does not upload them. Where a report goes after that is up to you.

Support emails

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply, and delete support conversations when they are no longer needed.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes standard request data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and protect the site.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays on your device until you delete it. Use Settings → Reset All Data in the app, or delete the app, to remove your records. Data in your device backups follows your iCloud or computer backup settings. Because we never receive your attendance data, we cannot view, recover, or delete it for you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the use of your personal data. Since your attendance data stays on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly in the app. For anything we may hold, such as a support email, contact support@ayushdev.com. We do not sell or share personal data.

Children

OfficeComply is intended for working adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "Last Updated" date above. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
